Martyn’s Law places a statutory duty on the Responsible Person of certain publicly-accessible premises to take all steps that are “so far as is reasonably practicable” to protect individuals from acts of terrorism. This includes ensuring comprehensive evacuation, invacuation, and lockdown procedures that are tailored to the nature, size, and activities of the site are in pace, supported by clear and appropriately placed signage to support emergency responses.
